The Nithari killings (2006) were a series of murders discovered in 2006 in the village of Nithari, near Noida, India. Initially, the police were investigating the disappearances of several children and young women from the area.

The investigation led to the house of Moninder Singh Pandher, a businessman, and his domestic help, Surendra Koli. Koli confessed to the murders, and skeletal remains were found in a drain behind Pandher's house. Forensic evidence later confirmed that the remains belonged to the missing children and women.

The case sparked national outrage due to the brutality of the crimes and the initial mishandling of the investigation by local police. The investigation was eventually transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Surendra Koli was primarily convicted for several of the murders and sentenced to death. Moninder Singh Pandher was implicated in some of the cases and also faced legal proceedings. The legal proceedings and appeals related to the Nithari killings continue to be a subject of discussion and legal scrutiny.
